Family History
In the 1940’s and ˜50’s, the ranch used to be the headquarters for a 2500-acre dairy/swine operation. When Chase Carhartt’s grandfather took the property over, that part of the facility phased out, but the general ranching and cowboy culture continued.
“I was a full-blown cowboy,” Mike says, seeming to marvel at the memory.
Ground to Glass is a slogan the Carhartts feel encompasses their way of life.
From the vineyard where the grapes are grown, through the winemaking process on the ranch, to the world’s smallest tasting room where the wine is poured, you will find the mark of a Carhartt family member.
The Tasting Room
Come and visit with the winemakers, Brooke, Mike, and Chase, at the “World’s Smallest Tasting Room”, just one block north of the Flagpole in downtown Los Olivos to taste our full range of current wines. Carhartt wines are also available from the website store. See what our customers have to say about the tasting room on Yelp!

Santa Barbara Wine Collectors Tour
I was extremely happy with Sammy's limo service in Santa Barbara. They took great care of us from the time they picked us up to the very minute they dropped us off. We had an amazing time in Santa Ynez and owe it to these limo pros for making it possible. We will be using them again in the near future, guaranteed!
