About
Since 2005, The Hungry Cat has offered the highest quality fish and meats matched with Southern California's abundent seasonal produce.
The result is not simply a seafood house, but a continuously evolving restaurant, following the seasons, but always remaining true to the product.
With a focus on the artisan, The Hungry Cat produces its own in-house smoked meats and seafood, curing and pickling, as well as featuring a unique farmers market driven cocktail program, esoteric wine list and rotating local beers.
Zagat Review
Why it's hot: Ever since David Lentz opened his popular seafood concept The Hungry Cat north of LA (Hollywoodwas first), it brought a new contemporary spin to the SB dining scene. The room is always buzzing with locals and visitors alike, everyone slurping oysters on the half shell, sipping fresh-fruit cocktails and more.
Must-order: You can't go wrong with this menu. Some favorites include the market lettuces with egg, avocado and lemon; oyster shooters; seafood platters; grilled octopus with tandoori-spiced yogurt; braised mussels with coconut rice and braised bok choy; clams with chorizo, chickpeas and harissa aïoli; and the Pug burger. As in LA, brunch is fantastic.
Insider tip: Mondays are the time to go — all oysters are half-price all day long.

Santa Barbara Best Restaurants
I was extremely happy with Sammy's limo service in Santa Barbara. They took great care of us from the time they picked us up to the very minute they dropped us off. We had an amazing time in Santa Ynez and owe it to these limo pros for making it possible. We will be using them again in the near future, guaranteed!
